The Latest IoT LoRa Gateway Module for Devices and Networks Monitoring

The LoRa starter kit based on LoRa technology and complies The Things Network works as a LoRaWAN gateway with 4G/LTE backhaul for Raspberry Pi. The kit includes Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ with LoRa Gateway HAT with gateway module and LTE Base Shield V2 with a 4G modem module. It lets you set up a LoRaWAN gateway that features cellular mobile network connection anywhere on the field. The uneven aluminum IP65 rated enclosure with all necessary mounting accessories, place your LoRa Gateway module outdoor and start development on your own LoRa network. With the pre-programmed SD Card, it is easy to get started with kit just after a few simple configurations. Power supply, antennas, cables, and glands are included to start right out of the box.

It is the best long-range wireless solution to create low-power, wide area networks. Get ready to build your own LoRa Gateway network, only 3 things that you should prepare to get started: a local server, a Gateway, at least one Node where you can monitor all your devices. You also get all the important elements you need: a Raspberry Pi 3, a LoRaWAN with GPS and a gateway & local server that allows you to collect and transfer data among all your LoRa nodes. Ready to fix the gateway with LoRaWAN and Grove modules, you can build your IoT prototype within Minutes.

LoRaWAN Gateway module is interconnected devices for commercial and industrial applications and is integral for the creation of smart cities. Our multipurpose long-range end nodes feature GPS, GNSS, and modules for accurate positioning and are a scalable solution for Internet of Things applications such as:

  • Smart Farming: Monitoring soil temperature, humidity, and salinity for large-scale farming. It’s a basic feature GPS for tracking and monitoring for cattle and livestock.
  • Waste Management: Detecting fill levels in tanks, disposal containers, and other waste receptacles. Monitoring levels prevents overfilling and allows waste removal companies to provide more demand-oriented emptying services.
  • Parking Space Management: Sharing the status of parking stalls to people can use Apps to find and reserve open spots in surface lots and parking ramps.
  • Generator Fuel Level Sensors: Monitoring generator fuel level sensors to measure diesel fuel temperatures and tank levels.
  • Sensor: Manage communications between multiple sensors to monitor and manage temperature, pressure, and fluid levels.

LoRa Modules Provide Long Range, Bi-Directional Communication

Our LoRaWAN Gateway module sensor transmits data to a wireless LoRa gateway that is connected to the internet and propagates data to the network through 868 MHz or 915 MHz wireless bands. The information is eventually received by a LoRa application that decides whether and which data to respond to the long-range end node.

LoRa gateways provide bi-directional communication with end-to-end encryption to protect data and privacy. These low-power wireless modules have a range of 3 km (1.86 miles) indoors or in urban areas and 15 km (9.32 miles) outdoors or in rural areas. The best way of battery power or solar panel operation accommodates different operating needs. The long-range end node provides four M12 connectors which can be used to connect different sensors to the LoRa end node. All four connector sensors can be mixed and matched to accommodate both analog and digital signals.
